Drew is a graduate from Boston University with a degree in economics and a minor in money and banking. He began his financial services career with Smith Barney as a stock broker in Boston. In 1992 Drew and Carl Grimstad (President of IPayment, Inc.) accepted an offer with Legg Mason in Tennessee to further their investment banking career, and he was employed with them until he moved back to the capital region in 1994. He has served as the past President of the Upstate New York Creditor’s Association.
